Pharmacies to Pay $6.8 Million to Settle Alleged Scheme of Kickbacks and Overcharging the Government

Several compounding pharmacies and former owners have agreed to pay the DOJ a combined amount of over $6.875 million to resolve allegations that they waived copays, overcharged the government for prescriptions, and traded federal healthcare business with other pharmacies, all in violation of the False Claims Act.
