DME Supplier to Spend 7 Years in Prison after Paying $850,000 for FCA Scheme

Department of Justice – Jeffrey Brooks of New York has been sentenced to more than seven years in federal prison for conspiracy to commit health care fraud, following an $850,000 civil settlement of FCA allegations that he paid kickbacks and fraudulently billed federal health programs.
