California Provider Pays $5 Million for Medicaid Fraud Allegations, as Investigation Nears $100 Million

Department of Justice – Lompoc Valley Medical Center of California has agreed to pay $5 million to resolve allegations that it defrauded Medicaid, bringing the total recovery for a larger investigation of providers in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties to $95.5 million.
