Pharmacy Owner Pleads Guilty to Prescription, Kickback Scheme

New York City pharmacy owner Robert John Sabet has pleaded guilty to billing Medicaid and Medicare for expensive prescriptions which were not needed and sometimes not even dispensed, and for which he paid kickbacks to have them filled by his pharmacies.
