Florida Surgical Center Settles Allegations of Fraud, Kickbacks Related to Kidney Stone Procedures
Surgical Care Affiliates and Orlando Center for Outpatient Surgery have agreed to pay $3.4 million to resolve allegations that they submitted claims to federal health programs for kidney stone procedures that were not medically justified, and engaged in an illegal kickback arrangement.
