Germany Launches New Cybersecurity Research Agency Modeled After DARPA

Germany’s federal government will launch a new cybersecurity research agency with funding of €200 million (about $230 million) over the next five years, whose goal is to make Germany technologically independent of other powers with regards to cybersecurity.
